2020 John Deere® Tractor Models

For well over a century, John Deere has been one of the premier agricultural equipment manufacturers found on the marketplace. Their iconic green-and-yellow tractors are used widely across America’s Breadbasket, helping farmers to optimize their crop and livestock yields.

8RX Tractor

As part of the brand-new 8 Family Tractor lineup, the 8RX is a fixed-frame, four-track wunderkind that’s equipped with the very latest precision agricultural technology. This new tech lets the operator choose their own machine configuration, options and horsepower. The 8RX tractors are designed to provide more contact surface area with less slip and less ground pressure. This four-track solution combines the best of both worlds in terms of offering the agility of wheels and the high hauling capabilities of tracks in one machine.

Choose between 76”, 80”, 88” or 120” widths for the front axles, as well as three different belt widths: 18” or 24” for the front and 18”, 24” or 30” for the rear. The integrated Gen 4 4600 CommandCenter™ display shows you all the information you need at a glance. You’ll get access to John Deere Connected Support, Remote Display Access and Wireless Data Transfer, courtesy of the Precision Ag Intelligence package that’s equipped with JDLink™.

7R Tractor Family

Every single model in the 7R family has been upgraded for 2020, with models ranging between 210 and 300 horsepower. These tractors are designed to suit livestock, hay and diversified crop farming. The names of each of the new models will include their horsepower, with 7R 330 being the largest and most powerful tractor of seven options.

The 7R lineup has fewer hydraulic connections to simplify their systems, with improved on-board diagnostics to help you figure out what’s going wrong quickly to reduce downtime. The shorter wheelbase and higher agility of the 7R line makes them perfect for a wide variety of tasks, from seeding to baling. The e23™ PowerShift transmission can handle sudden, high-torque loads with responsive shifting. You can even get optional Infinitely Variable Transmission (IVT™).

To improve comfort, the cabs are bigger than ever on the 2020 7R family, with 2” inches more of headroom and a wider entry path to make getting in and out much easier. Select between three different cab packages, depending on your needs and budget: Select, Premium and Ultimate. The Ultimate cab is the most well-appointed, prioritizing rider comfort with adjustable leather seating and carpeted floor mats.

6M Series

The 6M Series of cab tractors by John Deer has been completely revamped as well, with an expanded lineup to offer customers more choice for a diverse array of purposes. These cab tractors are excellent for livestock management, as well as roadside maintenance operations. The tractors come in a range between 110 to 195 horsepower, with improved visibility, maneuverability, comfort and technology. Their versatility makes the 6M Series useful for dairy, hay, livestock and diversified agricultural purposes, as well as snow removal and general property maintenance.

You can opt for a panoramic roof on the cab to improve your visibility as you drive, along with more ergonomic controls to reduce muscle and joint strain. Two of the most popular models, the 6110M and 6120M, have shorter wheelbases and sloped hoods to make loader work that much easier. Factory-installed AutoTrac™ guidance allows for more productivity while using front-mounted or side mowing equipment. JDLink lets you easily manage your fleet by providing maintenance updates and service alerts.
